Samsung has announce an event for February 20 where it is expected to showcase and release their 10- anniversary smartphone lineup consisting of the Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10 Lite. There is a ton of speculations on the specs as well as the pricing. My experience has been to look at it all as speculation until the announcements are officially made by the company. My understanding is that the prices won’t be as high as the new iPhones. Hopefully Samsung has learned this lesson from Apple given the fact that iPhones sales are astronomically down from last year.
The CES 2019 begins today. A lot of what I am hearing about CES is on the grape vine, so to speak. However, things such as voice operated toilet, Air Conditioning controlled by AI, and BLAZing fast mobile internet will most likely be the highlight of this year’s CES. There will also be a huge presence of 8K TVs even though there is no content for it. These TVs are going to cost somewhere between 5 to 6 figures. I don’t think most of us are going to buying one for awhile.
For those of you who have never heard of CES (Consumer Electronics Show), it is one of the largest tech events to take place every year around this time. The event usually introduces new technologies. Speeches are also given by some of the key people in tech, as well as government officials and sometimes celebrities. It has been said, however, that due to the recent government shutdown, certain government officials may not be able to attend and speak at the event as scheduled. Here on The Digital Blaze website, Facebook page, and Twitter page, I will be posting as many videos on the CES event as possible.
For more information on CES and what they are about, you can visit their website www.ces.tech and follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
