Europe’s New Privacy Law Has Some Serious Teeth

Europe’s new General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR has gone into effect, and has some teeth as companies who do not comply will face a fine of 4% of their annual income. The it works is that companies have 72 hours to report all data breaches and give customers the right to have their deleted upon request.
